i agree with you, but it still remains pretty good to dip into as a voyaging fan. i think i went to between half and 3/4 of the races on the calendar last year (can't be bothered to work it out), and it's still great to go and see some cool tracks.

Yes it is.

The newly founded Formula 3 Euro Series Trophy, created for cars built between 2002 and 2004, will be contested at seven of the Formula 3 Euro Series weekends. The ‘used cars’ will be on the grid of all the German races and will also take part in the series’ French race weekend.

Maybe not, but it seems a shame that a decent team like Prema should be scratching around for drivers. Remember they won the thing in the first year with Ryan Briscoe and also had Robert Kubica.
