GP2 Two Worlds Prediction Competition - 2006 Championship Predictions
Welcome to the Drivers Championship Round of the 2006 GP2 Two Worlds Prediction Competition!
This time, we'll predict a very interesting matter: the top 8 drivers of the final standings of the 2006 GP2 championship. GP2 Series shows a handful of F1 prospects, some with one year of experience in the series, plus the créme of the F3, World Series and A1GP stars, thus it give us several names with possibilities to be on the top of the driver standings. Post your picks for the top 8 drivers in the GP2 final standings. The deadline will be at 4:00 AM GMT Hour of April 5th. Don't forget to post HERE your predictions for the first GP2 race weekend at Valencia! Best of all lucks for all! |

My eight picks:
1. Lewis Hamilton (Has shown in testing another championship likely) 2. José MarÃ*a López (Has talent and car to battle for the championship) 3. Alexandre Premat (Another year ART spells success) 4. Nelson Angelo Piquet (Don't like him, but he's quick) 5. Nicolas Lapierre (Second year makes him a contender) 6. Lucas di Grassi (Talented Brazilian will overcome Durango shortcomings) 7. Ernesto Viso (Isport will give him a shot at wins) 8. Adam Carroll (Will shine on occassion) Looking forward to stat of the season in Valencia. Cheers, |

pre season testing hasnt ended yet but just to get started i will post championship predictions and i will do valencia before the deadline.
1º L Hamilton (ART almost certainly have the car, and if they have the car, all they need is a very good driver to make sure. enter lewis hamilton) 2º JM Lopez (lopez should benefit from what i reckon is now the second best car and aslong as he isnt crashing or spinning, should challenge for a title) 3º A Premat (just like f3, a1 and gp2 last year, premat will be flattered by a supirior car....i beleive) 4º A Carroll (carroll isnt, just plain is not, the 11th or 12th best driver in gp2, and i dont think villa is as bad as the last couple of rows either. that tells me that RE are either sad bagging or crap. as a driver he is a title contender and im sorry to say probably should have stayed at super nova....but its only march...) 5º N Piquet (should be a title contender but loses out mainly due to small points gap between first and sixth) 6º L Di Grassi (a mini carroll in that durango are no ART.) 7º G Bruni (should do ok) 8º N lapierre (i predict lapierre will echo how good his team does. at the moment i dont think arden are up to much. but they should be in 2 weeks time) |
