Use of solid bodies' physical properties in Formula 1
HI
need help been asked by my teacher to do a project about physical properties of solid bodies and how do people use them in everyday life. But...isnt racing and formula 1 an everyday life for (for ex) kimi raikkonen? DUH. so i thought about writing a bit modificated project and i need you guys to help me out. here's the catch: it has to have something to do with: 1. heat conduction (only SOLIDS of course) 2. thermal expansion 3. Elasticity 4. mechanical oscillation 5. all of these strange, odd physical phenomena concerning physical properties of solid bodies ive wrote something about use of elastic deformation of f1 wings in 90s, when the engineers wanted to fool the FIA and its regulations untill FIA found it necessary to order the measurment of wings' flexibility. rrrrrrright... ps: my english is CRAP ps2: my mechanical technical and everything-cal english is even CRAPPIER ps3: dont be surprised |

the thermal expansion of CFRP is very small compared to steel
elactics differ on who the fibre are placed |
