So updated:
Josef Kaufmann Racing Facundo Regalia, Kazeem Manzur, Robin Frijns
Eifelland Racing David Mengesdorf, Jazeman Jaafar, Giorgos Katsinis
Double R Racing

pericu I read in forocoches that DAMS, DoubleR and Motaworld tested at Guadix, any chance of knowing who the drivers were? I also hear that some of the teams might not enter this year, not difficult to guess who they are.

What about Prema? I heard they were running one F BMW at one of last years final collective tests.

Rupert Svendsen-Cook has agreed a deal with Double R. He showed some good pace at the end of last season so I expect him to be a contender.

Thanks for the update Dave. So, two second year drivers, I do wonder if others like Geronimi, Bianchini and Breysse will return to the series.

I only know this teams, probably there are more, but the drivers i don't have any idea. Probably i can ask it to somebody. But seems that in Guadix is snowing, so it is possible that the test have been suspended
Some teams (Dams secure) have another test in Calafat (Tarragona) a small and old circuit, for me not the best for testing.

Somehow Calafat attracks F.BMW teams, looking at the website it looks pretty basic but quick. Maybe this is why teams want it, the truth though is that if you have an off it will cost a lot unlike Guadix.

Jack Harvey testing for Fortec in Guadix, now he could be a strong addition to the series.

Very interesting that Racing Steps Foundation has selected a European series to place their driver rather than FR UK.

The Racing Steps Foundation does already have James Calado in FR UK. And also Dino Zamparelli I think too, as he was in the second RSF car run by Fortec in the Portugese FR Winter series. They are trying to look for another RSF driver to run alongside Calado next year in FR, after Wayne Boyd left the scheme after just 2 races in the UK winter series.

I honestly thought Will Buller would do Formula Renault, he was bang on the pace in the UK and Portugal over the winter and has recently won in the Toyota Racing series. He was good last year in BMW though, I expect him to be right at the front in 2009.
