The Codasur (South American Auto Racing Confederation) website, www.codasur.org, shows the following calendar:
March 21 - Brasilia April 18 - Campo Grande May 9 - Londrina August 8 - Curitiba August 29 - Bento Gonçalves, Rio de Janeiro (What is that place???) September 12 - Santa Fe streets, Argentina (with TC2000) October 3 - Piriápolis streets, Uruguay (I expect to be there) October 17 - Porto Alegre November 14 - São Paulo (One week after F1???) |

 Or enjoy a street race under the lights at Santa Fe, it's not too far away. I hope that the Codasur makes the F3 Sudam go to the Gálvez with the TC2000 (200 km), Top Race (Carrera del Año) or TC (December finale).

They could also have tried one of the recent Brazilian street circuits, such as Anhembi (IndyCar) and Salvador (Stock Car Brasil).

But we still have Argentine F. Renault... at least is still a national formula in our country.
Shame that F. Super Renault folded in 2004, it was a sort of "B-formula" for older Sudam F3 chassis, with Renault engines. |

Either the Top Race or the TC2000 should give a better support to the F3 Sudamericana. Making drivers jump from FR1.6 to 300hp touring cars is excessive. Besides, with this situation, very few Argentines will manage to have a career outside the country.

Round 1 of the championship was held over the weekend at Brasilia - about 16 cars turned up for the 3 races.... Bruno Andrade (1) & Lucas Foresti (2) shared the race wins!

They don't have a proper website. They don't have enough drivers. They only have Petrobras as title sponsor and two street races (Santa Fe, Argentina and Piriápolis, Uruguay).

F3 Sudamericana has a website (unfortunately in Portuguese only), but they should make it better. Also they should update it to 2010 season (is stuck in 2009 info in some parts).
