Ok, I realize that I don't normally post 'round these parts, but I saw this post, and I am sure i have the lamest car on this BB... Ok, get this
My parents (I only just turned 18) 1992 Dodge Caravan... complete with a different colored hood (a fender-bender, havent gotten it painted yet) The only semi-redeeming quality is the 3.3 liter V6, and when its damp out, i can spin the wheels a little... (God do I lead a horrible life!)sorry to depress you all...

Pefect excuse for me to post yet more pictures of my beloved automobiles. I was going to wait until the camper was finished, but that looks like being several weeks away, so I'll have to post an artist's impression instead

OK - here's my 1985 Austin Maestro Vanden Plas looking shiny at the Tatton Park classic car show:

Well, now for something completely different.

Here's the current ride, a 1995 BMW K1100RS.

Here's what is planned next -

A '69 Triumph Bonnie. And why not a new Daytona to keep it company.

Current Car 1986 Ford Granada - The first of the jelly mold Granadas. Actually looks like a Sierra after someone's attached a high pressure air hose to the exhaust. I know Bluebottle...It's not a real Granada 'cos it's got curves, but it has done us well, 151,000 miles on the clock. Alas, it's coming to the end of its life now, so we're on the look out for something else. So I guess the dream car would be something with rear wheel drive and a wee bit more fun to drive than the Grandad, which is a barge! Oh, and it's got to be able to fit a drum kit in it and cost pocket money to buy (poor student.....) Any (serious) suggestions??

Maisie's not the only one that likes Maestros, it's about time mine made an appearance here. Nobody's met "CHO" yet...

CHO is off the road at the moment being 'touched up' for it's next MoT along with a number of minor, very subtle modifications (mainly the addition of as many gadgets as possible). Now that the funds are available it should be completed and a regular sight in the car park at race meetings later in the season.

In this I actually own my dream car, except that in an ideal world it'd have to be a black MG1600! Oh well, I'm sure I can find some space for one somewhere

I drive a Peugeot 205 Gri. Not very sporty but extremely economical.
On fridays I drive my dad's Renault 19 RSi which is a very nice car.

As for my dream.....a BMW M5 or M3, A Renault clio Sport or a ferrari 550 maranello or a 360 modena with F1 shifting.

I'll give you the benefit of the doubt - this time - haven't had a row with any white Fiestas recently

Did manage to have a pretty major ding dong with one of those Citroen people carrier type things on the M60 this morning though! Is a precondition of owning a people carrier an inability to drive sensibly? I think so

Oh, to heck with it!!

I've resisted sticking the old Escort on here, but I couldn't wait any longer!!

This is how it used to look, before I recently started to repair it:

...And this is what I'm up to at the moment. I've tube-framed the lot. It's Sooo much stronger than it was.

The complete floor, tunnel, inner wings - all replaced by box section and cage extensions. It's pretty rigid, so I can get the adjustable suspension to work properly.
I'm spraying the front end panelwork at the moment, and when the panels are refitted, I can concentrate on refitting everything else; chrome, lights, bumpers grille, etc. It runs a two litre Pinto engine and a five speed box, with lumpy cam, side-draught Dell'ortos and Big Valve Head. Oh... And a single box exhaust system.

By the way, I get about 18mpg!

Good job I have the Carlton. (a.k.a 'The Barge', 'The Land Yacht', or 'Big old Uncle Navy'. - You'll have to ask Maisie about the last one!! )

Anyway, 'It' still gets twenty eight on a run.

Oh for a turbo diesel...

Great stuff Sparky,

It's this sort of thing that makes life worth living. A full chasis and tubs in a Mark 1 Escort! Can you fit a Rover 3.5L V8 in there?

Please keep the photos of the rebuild coming.

PS. Have you ever done a bike?
