DJR Well done!
I can't believe no one has hardly mentioned the great effort put in by DJR yesterday. The new #17 was genuinely fast and was loosing nothing to Ingall late in the race either. Warren Luffs double stint was one of the drives of the day & I'm sure he suprised quite a few people & fellow competitors yesterday. Well done everyone at DJR & bring on Bathurst..

Yeah great effort DJR, I was wondering if Seto may have been ribbing Lowndesy about their respective 2005 seat choices and finishes in yesterdays race

Full marks to Luffy.
Although I don't think he was doing it easy... The last in-car I saw, his face was red and the sweat was dripping off him. Great job Warren!!! |

Yes, it is confirmed that #17 finished 3rd & the supposed illegal pass on #34 happened when McConville punted the #5 FPR Falcon & that was when Luffy sneaked past before there was a yellow displayed. No problem for DJR.. There first podium since EC last year with Wilson at the wheel. |

I just hope that the newfound speed is allowed to be maintained at Bathurst....
There's a fraction too much friction... ooohh yeahh... |

i would have thought t kelly and bright driving off the track all on their own was all their own fault,
and how fast was skaife after the clutch problems well lets see he came out of the pits about 250 meters in front of ritter and he when the next safety car came out he was about 50 meters his best lap was .6 of a second (more than half a second) slowew than ambroses best lap so the answer not that fast. |
