Nurburgring '97 is one of those stupid falsities that live on in spite of all the people involoved denying ralf caused it.Three into the first corner won't work.Ralf was trying to brake early to avoid the situation but it was too late by then.Michael on one side and fisi(?) on the other were going for it.

I fear no mater what ralf does re braking for michael from now on -it will be all too late.
Michael 'knows' he can beat ralf psycologically so if ralf sticks with it ,it will just lead to crash after crash after crash as michael refuses to give in.
Oh well,if they take each other out of the championship it's no great worry,lol.

He have problems catching up with Michael...so why bother braking... The moment he can be in front is if he doesn't brake at all into a hair pin...he'd be in front of MS for awhile before getting intimate with the wall

But seriously, Ralf is a great guy who sometimes (knowing Michael too well) is not willing to take risk knowing he can't get pass, ie Canada.

I'm ok if he ups his game and start overtaking, but honestly, i hope he would improve his "overtaking" on everybody...not just on Michael to prove a point and counter criticism. Because if it's the latter, he may end up doing stupid risky moves just for the sake of it.

Maybe he just means in situations like Nurburgring 2001 or Japan 2003?
