Bob

Have you got any of those little side scoopes fitted to rear body next to the air filter? Where fitted to my car but been removed.

Cheers

John

Entered the race(s) over the weekend notice it stated in the regs £300 as the maximum entry fee yet I posted two cheques one for £10 (registration)and entry one for £328

Seems high for 15 minutes Qualifying and 27 racing laps (assuming they don't get shortened) about £7 a lap! Two 15 minute races would be good.

I noticed that the 'maximum race entry' was less than the Brands entry fee too. Nevertheless my cheque is in the post (a day late, damn my losing the chequebook (under a Demon Tweeks catalogue!))

blame the circuit owners for high entry fees not the club

Been told I'm first reserve on the second OSS race now it's amalgamated with the FFords (but confirmed for the first). I'll keep my fingers crossed for an unfixable technical problem with one of the confirmed cars

Hows the pit allocation work? Why somes pits have 2 cars but most one!

You can easily fit two cars in the pit garages at Brands.

Tristan,

Are you saying that the Club FF race is amalgamated with Open Single Seaters?

Best wishes,
Adam

No Adam on Saturday afternoon there is a SEMSEC meeting you could have had two races on the Saturday as practice.

BRSCC meeting is on the Sunday. Sprint on Saturday morning.

Because FF1600 aren't in the first race except two that are registered for the open race not FF1600 one!

We are combined for the second one.

Yup.

I don't have a problem with the mixed cars (it is an OPEN single seater race, so...). And I don't have a problem being on the reserve list (albeit R1) because I did get my entry in quite late.

But I will be hoping someone has something like a dead coil, or an oiled up clutch etc - anything to stop one person racing without hurting them that'll let me race (a little tongue in cheek, as I don't REALLY want people retiring, but I would like to race [twice]).

Really? The entry list I got today shows me as R1 for the second race! Which one is 'the truth'? Even Mr Greenfield confirmed, via email on Friday, that I was R1.

Yep first race, hopefully ironed out all the problems we had in testing be nice to have brakes at every corner!

Will be treating very much as a test session and staying out of trouble, well that's the idea probably until lights turn green!
I got pushed into the gravel twice last time I raced in SEMSEC once to avoid a spinning Renault and once a FFzetec, still won FF1600 though.

Aiming to do my first ever 48 round indy circuit.
