Camping and Spectator tickets would be totally booked out 6 months in advance... TV Coverage would get sold for mega dollars... This is what Daddy Denyer should be looking at  Racer69, sorry dude... couldnt get Insurance for the bikes

I agree, maybe even start it earlier at 4.30 or something to get more dark running.
A daylight finish is more desireable in my opinion. |

I was thinking back to the 90's when they had the 12 hour and it was awesome watching them at night, if my memory is correct Brock in a Volvo, Grice in Commodore Ute. Those were the good old days! lol

another attraction :Mark Skaife,Russell Ingall,Marcus Ambrose and Greg Murphy ,and the 4 girls who drove the Astra Diesel,plus Shane and Simone Warne,live in a "Big Brother" house in the pits [fully televised on the big screens] from Tuesday,the last 3 in the house get to drive a "cheater" 7 litre Monaro from the back of the grid in the 12 hour.The team is managed by Larry Perkins and Alan Jones.
