Do budgets permit?

You'd think GRM would be in a strong position to require the 2nd driver to bring a sizeable budget, whether it be Le Brocq, Jacobsen etc. More good drivers available than seats!

As it is, we seem to have a glut of capable steerers, worthy of a co-driver gig in the maingame. Bringing internationals over, adds very little (Nb. Mr Premat and Mr Stannaway being the exception to the rule).

The drivers and some engineering crew seem to think they will not be invited back...

Having seen that Andretti's Formula E team supported by BMW now has a significantly upweighted engineering resource coming from the car maker, what does Andretti bring to the table there? And here.. that isn't manufacturer aligned?

I hardly think that the prospect of Ryan Hunter-Reay, Marco Andretti, Zach Veach or Alexander Rossi saying they want to drive a Supercar would really be making anyone in the series nervous

Under current rules, there is little point in hiring overseas drivers for the enduro's. And putting Indycar drivers in as a wildcard in cars completely foreign to anything else they touch, would just embarrass them.
