@peter: By the way peter I think you don't need that lottery ticket when you have sold that connaught. To get even more off-topic why don't you race the connaught? Must be be quite a dream come true to drive, or well at least for me it would.
I would race the Connaught if I could afford it, it's Dad's car and he would rather see it go quickly (e.g. with someone good driving it) than pay for me to have fun in it!

The car Sneva drove is for sale in the US...cheap. Don't know if it's kosher to post the ad link...'tis on another vintage forum site.

If someone is interested pm or email me and I"ll send the link. Or post here if it's kosher to post the site link.

Here's a bunch of Theodore pics and info, straight from Tom Sneva's Facebook page. This looks like a fairly complete history of the 1983 Theodore N831 #MN019. You may have to sign up to view them, not sure:

That's actually Jacques Dresang's page, not Tom Sneva's.

You're quite a comedian. The original poster got no response to his question of you, but I get this as thanks.

I'm sure Mr. Dresang is a fine fellow, as he was kind enough to provide the information I found while looking at Sneva's facebook page. Pretty nice of him to go to the trouble of sharing it with those who might be interested.

Mr. Sneva had formerly been an educator, perhaps he admonished Mr. Dresang for his grammatical shortcomings.

I'm a comedian? I must add that to my list of undiscovered skills.

You say I didn't answer the original poster. That's because I had nothing to add. If I posted to say that I had nothing to add every time I had nothing to add, this forum would be twice the size but certainly no better for the additions.

I have previously posted twice on this thread trying, if I am able, to be helpful. I am still struggling to see how my last post offended you. All I did was post that the helpful history that you linked to was Jacques', a recent owner of MNO19.

I was similarly taken aback Allen, cant even see how its a misunderstanding due to the language barrier... Anyway dont let it stop you posting, especially seeing as you know more than 99% of this board put together.

Theodore Indy cars

Chassis MN019 (the first car brought over in 1983 by Mo Nunn for Bignotti Cotter and driven by Sneva as the Texaco Star 5 car USAC ID 1605) is in a private collection in Los Angeles. This was sold to Eddie Wachs Motorsport in 1984 and driven by Jim Crawford (as the United Breweries #68 car USAC ID 1768) and was last on the track at Indy in 1984 where it was a DNQ.

Chassis MN020 (the second car brought over in 1983 for Bignotti Cotter and driven by Kevin Cogan as the Master Mechanic #6 car) is in part of the Mallya Collection in Northern California. This was sold to Eddie Wachs Motorsport in 1984 and driven by Jim Crawford (as the United Breweries #78 car) and was last on the track at Meadowlands in 1984 where it retired.

Chassis MN021 (the third car brought over in 1984 for the Theodore Racing team and driven by Bruno Giacomelli as the American Airlines/Nordica #44 car) is in the Lake District, England.

Chassis MN022 (the fourth car which was modified further to 1985 CART rules and raced at Portland by Chico Serra) is presumed to be the car shown in the Finallap.net picture, although the car had a very different silver and blue paint scheme when it was raced. It was owned by Kerry Agapiou in Los Angeles after the Portland race but its current whereabouts are not known.

The other tub and bodywork shown in the picture in the Lake District are most likely a fifth tub since the riveted roll hoop is consistent with how Chico Serra's car was prepared for 1985 and the vents behind the engine on the bodywork are also similar to the 1985 Chico Serra car.

Hope this is helpful for future research.

You'll have to enlighten me as to my 'grammatical shortcomings.'

Theodore

I hope theres still some interest in the Theodore indy cars.
Can anyone tell me why the white indy car for sale in the
Lake District in the UK has 33 on it and not the 44 that was
on the Giacomelli car and why it has chassis plate Theodore 83-021
and not Theodore MN021
Cheers
Steve
