Yeah it is indeed Worlds fastest (road)-race. I think it is the fastest in case of average speeds but some record site exclude it because it is motorcycle racing or a true road course.
Coverage of the international events is pretty good, too. Usually the NorthWest 200 roadrace has a pretty fine live online video coverage. A couple other races like the IOM TT, Ulster GP, Manx GP get broadcasted live on (online) radio. Also, I know a guy who wants to cover a couple roadraces starting with the Cookstown 100 in 2011 through his online radio. If you get a chance, watch a video of last years Macau GP. Pretty close racing between Stuart Easton and Conor Cummins. You almost get crazy when you see how close the riders are with their elbows to the armco. Absolutely crazy but bloody fantastic stuff. |
