BMW i Range

Here's the i3 and the i8.

A glimpse of the future? Nice to see BMW looking into car safety and efficiency, while at the same time keeping the car looking good.

That's great, but it's worrying that BMW has said this will be the last time a new 1 series gets launched with rear drive. Next time it's front drive and no straight six engine. Instead expect a 3 cylinder turbodiesel. Not so cool, a 3 cyl usually sounds like a misfiring V8, hardly an enticing tune.
