I stand corrected, pole was decided by Entrant points and for some reason that gives Dixon the pole, though I thought coming into the race Castroneves had the most points.

Looks like it will be a dry race, track is drying during the World Challenge race, shame, never really see wet races these days.

Earlier today, The GPHOU Facebook page said they would start the race on wet tires.
Considering the track is drying, that may not be the case. PResently, skies are clear and/or clearing, although it's not warming up much.

High is expected to be in the low 80s. As I said previously, roughly 10-12 degrees lower than yesterday.
Should make for a good race!

I didn't think Dixon getting pole made any sense, if it was based on Entrant points. Personally I would have liked to have seen the grid based on yesterday's result, now that would have been interesting.

I didn't know they were going to do a standing start. Sato messed it up.

I see from the highlights they did one yesterday but I missed the start, as I couldn't get a feed.

Anyway a clean start for today's race and now we have a FCY.

"This was a bad one. Sato got out of shape, Franchitti ran into the back of him and was flung violently into the air and along the fence. That looked like a bad oval shunt. Dario is still in his car, but appears to be moving.

The fence has been completely destroyed."
