Completely forgot about this but it is fun to look back

1. The Championship will NOT be decided at the last race. Wrong
2. Mercedes will finish higher in the classification than McLaren or Ferrari or both. Very Wrong
3. One of the Mercedes drivers will win at least one race. Correct
4. There will be a race finish with all the previous/current champions on the grid taking up the positions 1st-6th. Wrong
5. One of the back end teams will not make it to the end of the season/to the first race. Wrong (only just)
6. Jaime Alguersuari will find himself back in a race-seat by the end of the season.Wrong
7. At least two drivers on the grid will have been sacked/retired/left the sport by the end of the season. Wrong
8. Felipe Massa will drive like a demon during the first couple of races but will still end up with less wins and less points than Alonso. Half Wrong - He drove like a demon in the last third of the season
9. There will be a 'new' race winner this year. Correct

1: Wrong on both. Last race WDC 2nd last WMC.

8: But they will probably start next season that way, if at all.

11) Lewis Hamilton will have "one of the best races of his life" at least 3 times this season. Don't think he has.

12) However, Lewis Hamilton will hit someone else at least 3 times this season. Nope. He was the victim this year.

13) Nick Heidfeld will NOT win his maiden Formula 1 GP this season. He didn't, unfortunately.

... but neither will Chris Amon, Jean Denis Deletraz, Giovanna Amati and Bernard Charles Eccelstone.

14) However, Bernard Charles Eccelstone will make A LOT of money this year. Pretty sure he did.

15) Even though Jean Alesi and Rubens Barrichello are set to make their Indianapolis 500 debut this year, Greg Ray and Buddy Lazier will NOT attempt to drive in the 2012 Monaco GP. Amazingly Buddy Lazier was Jean's driver coach at Indy. True story.

16) Rubens Barrichello will have a lot of fun this year. Pretty sure he did!

17) Mark Webber will finish 5th at least once this year. Nope...! He did finish 4th six times though.

18) Fernando Alonso will pass Felipe Massa on track at least once this year. Once in China. I belive once at Interlagos. Maybe some others I forgot too.

19) Vitaly Petrov will amost run into something at the season finale. I think his half-spin counts.

20) However, Lucas di Grassi will NOT finish 15th at the season finale. Bingo.
