Jackie's comment on Kimi
I thought this comment was hilarious regarding Jackie Stewart on "not changing Kimi" on Autosport.
If you ask him a silly question, you get a straightforward answer. I like Kimi a lot. I can't count him as a friend, and the friends he brings along are pretty unusual. But Kimi is doing fine the way he is." I guess Kimi has some unusual friends...I thought that was hilarious! |

For JYS to say what he did about Kimi was very complimentary, because they are complete opposites, but obviously he recognises that what Kimi does works for him and that's what matters. It's actually raised my opinion of JYS.

Slightly off topic, but I also thoroughly agreed on his point on F1 drivers racing in multiple disciplines a season. Commercially it would almost be impossible (Impossible for sure, if Ferrari were concerned) for instance if a driver raced in a different discipline for a different manufacturer.
Hamilton and Rosberg for instance could drive in DTM, since Mercedes compete in both F1 and DTM. I cannot really see that happening from Hamilton's point of view mind you. |
