Cuttlefish should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Very impressive time by Drayson, just a half-second off last year's LMP1 Acura times.

Hopefully Libra can continue working on the car. Their goal should be the 1:15.898 set by van der Steur in the AER Radical last year.

Does anyone know if the Radical is an LMP2 spec car or LMP1 spec with restrictors for the combined LMP class? Is it a Nissan engine?

Think I've answered my own question. It has a 4 litre engine so it must be LMP1.

Eh? He expects to do better and the car is not fully balance yet. Still learning, all notes are thrown out. Been 2 years since they ran the De Ferran Car here, not the Highcroft.

Really now with the complaining that constantly goes on elsewhere and a complaint of borish?

Yes, when one blatantly complains about the balance of performance in the LMP class that he & the team has clearly been able to win all rounds, much less compete at, then it is frakking borish!
Just because there is complaining from other qaurters, it does not excuse it! And PHR is my choice in the Prototype class, so it is not as a dig at a team I do not like!!

Even when teams are winning they car complaining its nature. Only in stick and ball sports that complain or lack thereof is largely base don how well your doing.

You hear the Saints complain much last season?

It still say they shouldn't have made the change until Mid-Ohio or after at the latest you really need to speed at Road America, Mosport and Road Atlanta.

Still for the balance not to be there, little more than 1 second off the pace with better tire where and gas mileage.... Not much to complain about so from that point of view I understand SLIGHTLY.

They show up woefully unprepared with a crappy old car as usual. One would think they would get tired of just flushing money down the drain.

The future is Grand Am....

Based upon the times set by the Radical with it's production Nissan V8, it looks like next year we'll be seeing times only a smidge faster than current DP laps at Mid Ohio. Might as well throw an ugly bomb at the 2011 field and just call them grand am.

You seriously did not just base 2011 Prototype speed on a chassis that is 5 years old and an engine that is running for the first time.

Well as mentioned, the Radical is old, and the engine is in its first race, but I also think the package was intended as a 2011 P2, so it should be a little slower than the front runners. As far as we know, a package like Highcroft or Dyson are running would be P1 eligible, and their speeds have been quite a lot faster than the Radical.

Oh, and about the ugly bomb, haven't you seen the fins for next year?

Yes, kudos to Drayson.

Don't know about over there, but here they don't seem to display enough brains to drive a car, let alone race a car.

Too bad for the Muscle Milk team this weekend, but very good to see Greg Pickett walk away from it with only a couple of broken ribs and cracked vertebrae. Out for the season. They're looking for a new second driver for Graf.
