they are, it's an excellent title battle. kvyat's still a bit wobbly, but to be fair if he hadn't gone with the wrong tyres at the ring he'd still be a fair way ahead instead of in a close battle with vandoorne.

it sounded as if the fr2.0s suffered from an inability to pass at the moscow track too, but i think kvyat had his mind on home glory and vandoorne has his eye on consistency and finishing. in that context you can't really blame him for not being particularly committed to having a go at kvyat
