Hawke DL 12
I'm looking for any information about the Hawke DL 12 Formula Ford.
Can anyone help me with pictures of the Hawke DL 12 from Les German in its original livery. (Sunblest bakeries sponsorship) Les German drove this Hawke DL12 in 1979. |

I can't help you with specific information about the "Sunblest" car, but the Hawke Registry may help, if you know the chassis number. They also have copies of brochures and setup sheets etc. Here is the link

I remember Les German driving this car, and know that there is a picture of it in an issue of Autosport from summer 79. I'll check out exactly which copy at the weekend when I get to my archives and try to get a good copy of it for you next weel. The car was principally white with red and orange graphics. I think it was Les's first race car. Sublest was also his employer. |
