First thing monday morning, replace the tickets to beat the enormous crowds later on in the week!

I saw that too. Don't really understand it though. These tickets aren't affected by the sunlight in the same catastrophic way. Are they saying you can make the deeply printed part of it smear? Assume that goes for the barcode too should you rub your finger across it.

I don't get the picture - the dark 'smear' to the left is actually part of the background picture.

I will collect my tickets next wednesday morning, will ask them if they are printed on the wrong paper immediately so they can be replaced.

We nipped into the ACO shop next to the museum today and enquired at the membership point about the tickets. They said there is no need to seek any replacement of tickets unless they show signs of deterioration......

Yep, quite a few times actually - but not when we've needed to flash the tickets.....

We left it in the windscreen the last time we drove into the parking because we knew we wouldn't need it again. It looks like it would have been a problem on a very hot day.

Yes, I saw one or two worse than that. Probably 'lucky' it wasn't quite as blisteringly hot and sunny as I predicted........

Interesting.
My Tertre Rouge pass has been sitting on the study windowsill since I got back (so on day 6 now) and isn't really showing any ill effects at all. |

I saw a couple at the circuit that had gone completely, especially down at Mulsanne during the heatwave on Sunday. But I saw others that had not been affected, odd situation.

Mine was left in the window of the car, and didn't alter at all, yet the Porsche next to us had a completely black ticket Saturday morning...

Or it could be that you had a ticket from the good batch, and the Porsche didnt. |

Not mine. I did put one behind my window in the summer to test it, but nothing happened. But better safe than sorry, of course, so I kept them hidden during raceweek.
