Next week, finally the Nordschleife, best track there is in the world.

BUT - no live coverage in Eurosport. For the biggest event of the season. Epic fail...

They said they got rid of Macau because of bad time slot. Here there is no time slot at all

It was confirmed a while ago that WTCC & ETCC would be racing at the same time. The two series will be split into groups though, so they won't have an affect on each other.

And like people have already said, the coverage this weekend is terrible. Just over an hour to cover both WTCC & ETCC, because tennis & cycling are SO important.

Are they running the Mercedes Arena? I checked, and they didn't last yet; they just used that really tight chicane sort of thing that's roughly where the Castrol S used to be.

It'll be the 3rd round of the French Open, which I imagine gets much better TV numbers than WTCC. It's unfortunate that this clash occurs, but Eurosport's priorities are reasonable.

Ok, am not a touring car fan but I'm trackside for the N24 and quite looking forward to qualifying, but I'm really confused as to what the format is. Is it not just a timed session, fastest = pole? Currently there are a few ETCC cars trundling around (and I mean "a few", I think I've seen 10 at most).

Also, if I may, what rules are the ETCC running? Seems to be split into two, are the frontrunning cars TCR spec?

Here's some info on the impromptu qualifying format for this round: http://www.touringcartimes.com/2016/...of-qualifying/

As for ETCC: Top class is TCR, slower cars are S1600 (which never really was much of a thing outside ETCC and ADAC Procar).
