John Horton
John Horton will have been well known to many on this site for his work at the British Grand Prix and World Rally events on the Media side, his death following a heart attack is most sad as he and recently retired and should have spent many years taking it easy with his hobbies.
I know from personal experience what a charming man he was, and so helpful to the Media at these events, I counted him as a friend more than a colleague. Coming so soon after the death of his great friend and helper, Mick Loomes, it has been a very sad period for those of us who had dealings with them both. The MGCC Live will not be the same without him organising the presentations. God Bless them both, may they rest in peace. Bob. |

Bob, is John the man that did the prize presentations at most if not all of MGCC race meets? If it's not, apologies and I'll delete this later

Very sad news Bob, on the rare occasions I won any trophies he was always the man to ask the embarrassing questions but a really true gent. My sympathies to you and his family.
