about the dvd, if you go to www.amazon.com and search for Le Mans on DVD they give you the option to have an email sent to you when thr peopl decide to release it! i think theres a petition there as well. Blood good film thio, am halfway through, was in Spain last week so my girlfriend recorded it for me, dont you love em?

Yep, did that ages ago. But the more the merrier, so perhaps I will do it again and again. (Make a request of Amazon that is!)
BTW, girlfriends that tape car movies for you are the most dangerous sort. They transform themselves into wives. BEWARE! FG |

regardless of the age, i really enjoyed it. it ought to be required viewing for the management of porsche(and ferrari).
i always thought max's interceptor was the coolest car in the movies, but mcqueen in the 917 on those last two laps...AWESOME!!!! |

Anyone who wants to buy it could go to Mill house books www.millhousebooks.com but it's in NTSC format i.e. American and Japanese standard as opposed to the UK Pal standard and is priced at £34.95. I got it on tape from channel 5 and it's superb.

I was very struck by some of the footage shot in the morning as the cars were facing into the sun whilst the road was still wet and there was a lot of spray about. They could see absolutely nothing for a few seconds.
When it was raining they couldn't see much even without the sun. Quite a sight. FG |

Full marks to C5 for the slide before and after each advert break which read 'Les Mans'.

I'm sure someone will copy it for you. I would offer but my picture started to break up for the last 20 minutes. I also had no dog to kick so the wife had to do. If you can't find anyone else send me a tape and I'll do it. FG |

Yippee! I get to plug my favourite bookshop again!
TVRfan, try Chris Knapman at Collectors Carbooks in Woburn. His website has the book currently listed at £39.95. You may find it cheaper elsewhere, but I seem to recall seeing stock in his shop a couple of weeks ago. http://www.collectorscarbooks.com/ As always, usual caveats. I have no connection with the shop other than as a very satisfied customer. |

I went in our local branch (without the ISBN, I should add). They found it on their computer-thingy with no problem at all. If you like, I'll let you have the ISBN - when I get back home from work....... |

I don't know if you guys have seen it but there's another book out there just call Le Mans 24 Hours. It's a historical ref. It's brand new.
