If your question is "Who will win at Watkins Glen?", I don't know. I hope it's Jeff Gordon. But if your question is "Who will win at Watkins Glen again?", and that's the list to choose from, there is only one possible answer. Jeff Gordon. Bill Elliott, Tony Stewart, and Casey Atwood haven't won there. (Yet.)

Since NASCAR's return to Watkins Glen in 1986, there have been 15 races, and the winners were:

2001 Jeff Gordon
2000 Steve Park
1999 Jeff Gordon
1998 Jeff Gordon
1997 Jeff Gordon
1996 Geoffrey Bodine
1995 Mark Martin
1994 Mark Martin
1993 Mark Martin
1992 Kyle Petty
1991 Ernie Irvan
1990 Ricky Rudd
1989 Rusty Wallace
1988 Ricky Rudd
1987 Rusty Wallace
1986 Tim Richmond

Jeff Burton, if the engine holds. If not, Mark...

Whoeeeee.....some terrible picks here.

Let me restate my top pick with the runnerups.

1. Rusty Wallace
2. Jeff Gordon
3. Tony Stewart

And could it be possible to see Awesome Bill come through once again?
I am a little puzzled about the lack of posts regarding Bill's two straight wins, a tremendous effort on his and the whole Evernham team!!

Robby Gordon! How can he not be on the list???

If you ask me, though, he's wasting his talent... Should be in World Rally Championship, has always been at his best on dirt.

Of course, NASCAR could always add a pair of dirt ovals to the Cup schedule...

That would be great- But of course it would have to be a HUGE track capable of holding at least 85,000 fans. Don't think there are any of them.

Keep your eye on "Boris Said" at Watkins Glen. He has more talent on the road courses than any of the other drivers.
