In Russian, but apparently ArtLine set to create a new chassis for F3 since their last attempt in the German F3 in 2010.

Here is the English version: http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/117162

They are talking about 'maybe' entering German F3 aswell. I was thinking German F3 doesn't exist anymore??

German F3 is still existing although with just a few cars left. British F3 is dead.

I thought German and British F3 would merge in 2015

That was only a rumour. As far as I know, British F3 is not officially dead either but some of the team managers hinted it's not gonna be held in 2015. German F3 is set to live another year but there are rumours about teams pulling out of there. I expect a grid with low numbers.

It was more than a rumour. They talked to each other but the German teams didn't want it.

I also expect a very low grid number. With the very strong European F3 and the national F4 series there is not longer room for national F3

Will be tough for ArtTech, they have to homologate most of the car in March. They show renderings so I guess they dont have a car build yet.

The smaller German teams didn't want the merger. So as a result both series are killed off by the FIA-ification (perhaps a more catchy term is required... ...Bergerification???) of the junior formulae in recent years. Great thinking from all parties involved...

That would be a really good grid actually, very much enjoyed the championshp last year so a tough act to follow, didn't really see much in Berretta though, not enough to get a Mücke seat anyway, or have I missed something?

He did have a rough rookie season but in his defense i don't think the Eurointernational was the best car on the grid, also keep in mind he is on a very steep learning curve, he didn't even sit in a kart until 2011, i doubt he is a future F1 world champ but he isn't a complete mug either.

Ah fair I wasn't aware of that, should be interesting to see how he runs in a top car then

If Formulahistory's provisional entry list is correct, where's Antonio Fuoco going? His debut year was good (nowhere near Ocon and Verstappen though), but doubt FDA would quit on him so quickly even if Lance Stroll seems more talented and brings a larger backing with him.

GP3 seems likely for Fuoco, based on previous reports and his testing form.

Quote:
"GP2 is very good preparation for Formula 1, and it could be good for him to race in GP3 to get used to the Pirelli tires," FDA chief Luca Baldisserri explained.

Baldisserri added that a decision would only be made on whether to make the switch after Fuoco has tried the GP3 cars. He also played down speculation that Fuoco, who dominated the 2013 Formula Renault ALPS season, would be dropped from the FDA program, saying that a decision would be made in December but that it was probable he would remain.

2014 MacauGP winner Felix Rosenqvist visits Akihabara Japan today. And he went simulator shop.
He told to shop staff ''I want to race GP2 next year. But I don't have enough money. So might be a race in Japan''

Right, a busy day of F3 announcements today!

George Russell joins Carlin - http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/117324
Karting star Alessio Lorandi joins Van Amersfoort Racing - http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/117329

...and he's likely to be joined at VAR by Charles Leclerc - http://www.italiaracing.net/newsint.aspx?id=49496&cat=7

Some SUPER-exciting young talents there I think you'll agree - and when you also add Lance Stroll into the mix it looks like being one hell of a rookie battle this year

A truly amazing line-up AGAIN for 2015. Although Jake Dennis will likely be the man to beat (although he's pretty damn quick himself!)

Slightly disappointed that Dennis Olsen won't join the fun, he'll be in the FR Eurocup again next season, but Lorandi, Stroll, Russell, and maybe Leclerc... ...wow!

Boccolacci will be out of his depth in F3 Imo...

A season in Eurocup will do him better, unless he's looking for points

Don't discount Maisano, he's very experienced and the new car might suit him more. Dennis & Ferrucci are probably the favourites if Fuoco goes to GP3.

Russell will win at least a race. He's almighty. Although I'm not sure anyone would be able to stop Leclerc once he's fully settled in at F3 level. But I'm not sure Ferrucci is totally at home in F3 yet, so imagine what he'll be like when he is! Whoever is champ will fully deserve it!!!

Alex Albon and Dorian Boccolacci confirmed at Signature, and Leclerc has his seat confirmed at VAR. Good grid, very young.
