I have a friend working T7, he said they let some RV's in earlier around lunch. A couple of Miatas have already crashed as well as a Lambo.

I'll second Joe's offer. Plenty of room in the car for me. Let me know if something has been left or is required. And much appreciated for being the spot saver, again. Rain is picking up in Athens. Stay dry, pal. |

Is actually been dry in line most of the time, actually saw this blue stuff in the sky for a while. Just sitting in line with beer, cigar, zaxbys and racing talk, not a bad way to start vacation at all.
Only thing i can think of is more eggs, have 10 but another half dozen or so would be good. Have enough meat and potatoes for a Mexican and Italian style breakfast casserole. And a power strip, have an extension cord and multiple usb bricks and cords in my stuff, but i think Eric might have one in his stuff. |

Thanks for doing that Andrew, once again. I've bought a dozen eggs and I don't even know why! |

I hope to be there around 5:30 or 6:00pm. Depends on traffic, weather, how many "haircuts" I need. ps. Does anybody know what I mean by haircut? |

Slackers.
Lanier must be filling pretty good, prob seen 20 RVs and trailers sent down that way. Did not see our usual neighbors in line in front of me so we might be further back if some of these RVs take the edges but there is more grass back from the road. I will try to keep a decent lane open for the Apache if we are back. Gates open at 7 tomorrow and there's still lots of gear outside of here and some guys have been in line since Sun morning early. So much for no one thinking Petit was worth it anymore. |

A haircut is a term from Car talk which refers to a bowel movement. Don't remember why they came up with it. I think it was either a caller or someone who wrote in. So people would say, "I was driving from Boston to Chicago and I was in the middle of nowhere when all of the sudden I was in dire need of a haircut'

Well I'm in and we have our usual spot at the oak tree again. I'll start setting up the kitchen and blocking space.

There's two RVs stuck at 4 trying to climb the hill but they got the hitch and trailer stuck. Careful driving and it shouldnt be a problem

I'm sure this is still 'hit-or-miss" but I have rec'd more than a few message from friends that are there already. They are being hardcore about searching coolers/cars so far today.
Unfortunately, I have to work until 2p today, so I'll be up there 'round 3:30 or so. |

I might have to move some things around if they are being nosey. But do they actually have the right to search your car?
