racingdad has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
I have to admit that if I was Brilliance, I wouldn't be too impressed with the way things have developed, even if their UK reps are as much innocent victims as they

It would be a shame if the whole thing doesn't happen. I was strangely looking forward to following their progress and finding out which drivers they were going to use.

I guess they're keeping us guessing until the very last moment? Has every other Works team announced their drivers already? Most of the Independents too?

They aren't. And now FIA is going to try to keep them in WTCC...

Very emabarrasing all round. I really feel a great deal of sympathy for all concerned - Brilliance, John Batchelor & his partners, the WTCC organisors, the FIA, the drivers.... While everyone will have recognised the difficulties involved in launcjhing a brand new manufacturer without a racing pedigree into a serious motor racing challenge, no-one could have forseen some of the added hurdles.

Good question - its gone all quiet again. Surely there has to be some news very, very soon or are we to assume that this is not now going to happen?

It may still happen.....Tomorrow somebody from China will be in the UK to see what can be done. Nobody has news from Batchelor except that he still has engines and chassis which belong to Brilliance.

So does that mean Batchelor has been cut out?

Fairly harsh if that is the case because regardless of what people think of him, the whole Chinese involvment was down to him. Looks like luck wasn't on his side with the whole VLR thing.

Whatever anyone thinks, it was JB who put it all together in the first place. The Vic Lee situation cannot be laid at his door, so unless there are other specific issues, I believe that he should continue or there will be yet more delay.

Just for clarity, all the parts and chassis belong to me.

I know how long these programmes take. My sympathy goes out to john and the other guys who made this deal realistic and commercialy attractive.

Its very hard to formulate these ideas into reality. I hope we can all learn from this for the future.
