PipSqueak111 should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
I haven't got the photos that my mate was taking yet, but I'll post some up if I can when I get them. He downloaded some to his laptop at lunchtime in the paddock and they looked pretty good.

I'd like to see the photos when they arrive. The only one that features me so far, shows my much-vaunted M5 being led into Graham Hill Bend by a people carrier!!

You are lucky! There are no pictures so far of the Honda Civic Type-R that I swore I wouldn't drive round the track

I think my mate had one that I saw on his laptop, with you heading up to Druids. I'll let you know.

Many thanks for taking the pictures Richard (especially those of my car ).

Well done QBF. It was my first time taking "action" shots with my Nikon D70 (and unfortunately it really shows!).

Note to self - must visit photography forum and get some professional advice....

Oops!

Actually I think I held up pretty much everybody at that corner at one point or another ( I'm blaming the gearbox), so if I ruined anyone elses photo opportunities......tough!

Sorry, no complaint intended! I went to Brands to represent the National Officers of the Marshals' Club and had not intended to take part - but the temptation was just too great! A greasy circuit brings out the best of all the trick suspension bits on a BMW M5 - even with an old t***** like me at the wheel!

I thoroughly enjoyed my day out and I suspect so, too, did everyone else. Thanks again to Dr JP and Stephen.

Like MacGWC I made a point of going as the SE Region's Chairman, but also got co-erced to 'signing-on'; not that it took a lot of arm twisting, but over many years I have done 100's of laps of the Indy in everything from Audi Single-seaters, Caterhams, TTs, Golf GTIs and Aston Martins - but the bug is still there!! However, so pleased that everybody enjoyed their day and that Jonathan gave us Marshals that little extra recognition; sometimes lacking.

Like George and Gerry, I didn't intend to take the Civic on the track but, like the others, the temptation was just toooooooo great

Durrrrrr, like yeah, you take your car to a track day and not expect to drive it around the circuit!!!!!!

Like, do you work for Porcine Airways by any chance?

Happy New Year!

Nope, but as the organiser of the day I went in more of an organisational role than one of participant.

At the moment I'm still gathering names. I take it you are still offering to bring along the car for 'hot laps' etc?

I won't have final details of sign on times etc until closer to the date.

Hopefully I will be able to persuade a few other drivers to come along and give the marshals a fun time. At the moment I'm still trying to get me address book sorted after changing my PC three weeks ago!
