Jeff OTMG should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Earnhardt Jr. was having trouble with his car for many laps. It was bouncing all over. I know he was trying to stay out there for a finish, but shouldn't he have either backed off so he could still control it or taken it in so that it could be fixed? Anything that would not lead him to destroy the car seems like it would have been a better decision.

Also, does anybody know what put D. Waltrip out of the race. He had been put about 4 laps down then all of a sudden it showed OUT. If there was an announcement I missed it.

As close as the racing is, and with the slow pit road speed limit, if Dale Jr. were to pit to fix the handling, he would go one, if not two laps down, effectively ending his chances. He did the right thing by trying to stay out until a yellow or a scheduled stop. He has to learn how to race a Cup car that is not handling properly. It looks like the car just got away from him.

As for DW, apparently, he just parked it and walked away. Check out www.speedvision.com/racing or www.jayski.com for more about it. Seems like quite a story developing there.

DW got black-flagged for not meeting the minimum required speed. They gave him one chance to fix it, but he was still too slow, so he was out of the race. It is pathetic to not be able to meet the minimum speed in a car with all of its sheetmetal and all of its cylinders running. DW needs to call it a career right now.
