eric d should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Pin drive hub-w/o pins?

I noticed in images of the new GT2 vette that there doesnt appear to be any drive pins in the hub of the center lock system.

I have noticed this in some other current center lock system images also.

I am missing something? are the pins simply not installed in the image? Are they in the wheel? What gives?

cheers

Its magic! ok, no its not.

Yes the pins are in the wheels on the new P&M cars...the riley car was done with they're conventional hub with pins.

The nut is made by Metalore. the socket has fingers which ingage in the cavities of the nut to turn it and it is retained in the socket by a ring of magnets bonded to the socket. this is a pretty common unit used by irl, cart, sportscars, F1 etc.
