All grandstands sold out at Brands Hatch

Thought I'd give you some idea of popularity of the first event at Brands Hatch. All the grandstand seats (permanent and 3 temporary stands) have completely sold out.

Story on MSV Website.

I saw the announcement earlier this morning Daf. Great news and as you say, it shows what a good event it's shaping up to be. I think one of the great attractions is the fabulous support package, something F1 could take note from.

Incidentally, good adverts during the F1 commercial breaks yesterday!

Indeed, very good news. And to think, a few of us have been speculating crowds as low as 10,000-20,000 - sounds much more like 50,000+ to me.

I hope so as it would be nice to see MSV get some return for the investment they have made in all their circuits in the past 18 months. I don't think I have ever seen Brands Hatch looking as good as it does now.

Lots more run offs, freshly painted, grass mown, everything looks 100% better than it ever has in my years of going there. Big thumbs up to JP and his team.

Glad I ordered my tickets when I did then!

Haven't been to Brands Hatch for about 6 years - when I did a track day thing.

Am really looking forward to this event - it's just a shame all the rest will be broadcast by Sky, as I don't have that.

That's the capacity of the grandstands, not the entrance figures.

All the MSV circuits are looking great...even the old airfield that is Snetterton. Vast improvement. Bravo JP.
