One of the best things to come out of the BBQ was great to see JR getting back to his old self..Even though i nearly fell off my push bike.Message to Dave GT6 i wondered why you looked a bit puzzled when i said "thanks for coming to the BBQ". Don't worry my son thinks i have early signs of alzheimer's

I reckon that you were refering to JT as that JR bloke wasn't there.
JT looked well and back on form where I was just my normal awkward self. Hope all was well with BBQ and understand you had to get more booze. Think if you do it next year its bring a bottle from visitors and free for Marshall's because normal freeloaders were hovering round the food tents in drivers area so assume you got the odd one on Saturday night.May be they missed you because vultures had many opportunities around drivers and other areas Can name them before you start, they don't bring much to parties. |

Yes, I think that you are right JR; it was certainly me that nearly made Iain fall off his bike! Well we are both called John. In fact, along with Johngee, I'm thinking of forming the Grumpy Johns Club!
Yes, I probably am back on form (whatever that means!), when I'm with you guys, anyway; you get the best, and the worst out of me! And John, I don't think that you are awkward; merely a bit anarchic, and that suits me fine, so don't change. Oh, but you must listen to my advice re competition cars and what you should enter and when! |

Yep sure does get confusing. John Gee.JR,JT.Funny thing JR more people ask me who you are than anyone else.Hang on excluding the Compte that is.Next year you must come to BBQ and sign autographs.I would like to add that JR is very much a man of his word and supports me with BBQ and also Stoke Row festival of speed.Cheers mate.

That's fair enough then John.
I did see you at the Classic but you were involved in conversation at the time John,I had to be somewhere so didn't have the time to wait. |

Sorry, we didn't meet then, Terence. Despite being there a long time, I still didn't catch up with everyone I would liked to have chatted to. It is in the nature of of these meetings, especially if like me, you actually want to see and attempt to photograph the racing as well. Of course, I think that some probably walk off in the opposite direction, if they see Turner on the horizon, and who can blame them?

Me too! saw Iain twice despite instructions, could not spot shiny truck, must have been damaged side facing out, saved a bad head Sunday morning being the only up-side. Not a bad w/e all round...
