I think there will be a shortage, of marshals so I wouldnt think there would be a problem getting in if so ask the guys on the gate to get in touch with either Diane Hardy (ES) or John Watson (Flag/Obs) the chiefs for the day and they will no doubt sort it for you.

I haven't had tickets either - just a letter stating tickets will be issued at sign on so shouldn't be a major problem with the guys on the gate.
As you go in the main entrance head for the Coppice tunnel to get to sign on See you there - hope you have your thermals ready lol |

I had the bikes down for donnington this weekend until I found out I had to do the training day for bikes before I could marshal them so I didnt get chance to re-schedule or I would have put down for this one. Never mind im down for Cadwell beginning of April if the details come through

...and many thanks to you guys and girls in orange for a great day's racing too! You know only too well that, without you, we racers are nothing. I hope some of the lines taken by car 10 in the Metro Cup race entertained you , 'cos they kept me busy!

Post 2 - I have just "twigged" - You were obviously FAR too quiet yesterday, "branching out in new directions" & probably" bark"ing up the wrong "tree".
Sorry!!!!! |

I deserve a prize.
A rescue unit was asked to go and help remove the bonnet from a car as it had flipped up (that's why he pulled off) and it needed to be removed before it could be towed away. The marshals at the scene had tried the obvious (will it shut?) and no luck. So we were using spanners. Up bowls the Clerk and says in my ear "Can't you just close it?" Much to my surprise I only replied "No we've tried that". Personally I think that is restraint above and beyond the call of duty. Jim |
