Those who keep/rely on the MST results may care to note that the results contain several mistakes as to cars/drivers -
Race 5 WHITSUN TROPHY #11 Leslie Lotus 30 not Ferrari 330P #20 Folch Ferrari 250LM not Lola T70 #21 Hall Tojeiro Buick not Lotus 30 Race 16 MADGWICK CUP #12 driven by Rob Wilson not Robert Brooks #15 Reedz Thott Lotus 19 not 23 #14 Jones Lotus 23 not 19 #16 Bailey Lotus 23 not 19 Any one aware of any others? Yes, indeed. RAP have you notified them? If not, I will, as I tend to whenever I spot them on the basis that accuracy now will prevent misquotes/errors etc in the future. MST, as the official timekeepers are our source for this info, and we don't want any mistakes perpetuated in future histories. To be fair to MST, it is not their fault if their timekeepers are not advised of any changes/corrections.

A question has arisen about Goodwood, how did Madgwick corner get its' name? and , of course, the Madgwick Cup?
Many thanks |

Madgwick Corner was apparently named after Madgwick Lane, which ran adjacent to that part of the circuit. No, I don't know why Madgwick Lane was so called!

Bit of a late request.
Should anyone have any photo's of car 15 (Ford Zodiac) in the St Mary's Trophy the cars owner would be very grateful. he is an old friend of mine who worked all hours to get it ready in time, then had a series of faults that kept him and his team busy all weekend. The car did not race on Saturday because of a throttle linkage and overheating problem, but it did go out on Friday and Sunday Thx Simon |

Revival on ITV
On Tuesday 10th October at 23:00 ITV1 will be broadcasting a ONE hour programme on the Goodwood Revival.
Murray Walker and Amanda Stretton will be doing the commentary plus there is a profile on Phil Hill. Set Video Recorders to stun! |

The two Burnett/Ruston entries practiced on Friday but due to problems back at home it was necessary to withdraw them on Saturday morning. They were both forth on their respective grids. The cars had no problems and arrived back in one piece

If anyone has a photo of the Spit being taxied along the startline, I'd love to see that.
