Noosa Classic Hill Climb
The Noosa Classic Hill Climb is an annual event that takes place on a flowing hillclimb course in State Forest near Tewantin on the Sunshine Coast (QLD, Australia).
I went up and had a look for the first time on Saturday, and I must say, it was a great event. Lovely atmosphere - leafy surroundings, good vantage points, friendly atmosphere, total access to the pits, lots of great cars, etc. Alongside the usual hillclimb specials, V8s, Formula Vees, Clubmans, Minis, etc were some interesting vehicles - a Bugatti Type 37/35B, old pre-war racing cars by Frazer-Nash and MG, the lovely little Jolus Minx, a few Group A touring cars, etc. Anyway, I am a bit of a keen photographer, I thought perhaps some people might like to see some shots from the day - you can see them here: http://cfm.globalf1.net/?page_id=121 Or here are some of my favourites: Hope you like them. Did anyone else go? |
