We are there exhibiting. Stand 35 in the tented retail area. Besides our racewear stuff, there will be a seriously good artist sharing the stand, chap called Neil Garner. Come along and say hello. All being well we will have HANS devices to try ready for next year.

Unlike Race Retro we won't have biscuits but as I don't have to drive back at night feel free to bring beer. Who knows how the discount will be affected by alcohol? ????

May see you there, Max. If I do make it, the truck is always well stocked with beer!

Bit of a conundrum, the Classic. It really is hard work if you attend as a preparer or individual racer- especially if operating from the 'New Wing'. Have learned how to 'work the system' after several years, but still occasionally fall out with over zealous security..... Does get fantastic grids, entries are premium price, to put it mildly, but there is plenty to occupy families away from the racing. And of course this year we have Status Quo on stage!

So may have one/two cars in Pre War Sports and the 356 with Will and Gareth in Pre 63.

It's five years since the last Pre War race and looking at the entry list should be quicker as some shall we say well engineered entries.

If a car does a lap less than 38 we will all know that development has been stupid!

Seem to remember we did about a 42 last time.

Looking at the sponsorship obviously Kidson thinks he can sell a bunch of cars

Highlight motorsport event of the year, for me.
Several other meetings will produce some better races but for the whole three day experience I don't attend better.
3 day ticket and camping pitch long since paid for, at decent prices thanks to a car club friend
Really looking forward to seeing the rest of the entries in due course.

Now where is my denim jacket

If you have any spares please send them my way as I hope to have my Courier out for it's maiden outing in the Battle of Britain and sure to be in need!

Have had my entry in the Guards Trophy accepted and really looking forward to actually getting onto the track rather than being pit crew for a large American touring car (fun though it has been). Will no doubt be spending most of the race ducking out of the way of the Chevrons!

It's been a long time since having a beer in the Scarf and Goggles, watching the great and the good racing at the old Coy's Festival as it was and dreaming of being able to join in. There used to be a lot more pre-war racing back then so good to see Mr Ruston has a grid this year in what is being hailed as the 25th anniversary.

If timetable follows every other year to date, Wednesday 1200 hrs pre-booked multi preparers go in, then from the evening on other traffic.

Not seen anything in writing this year to confirm that, however!

A little bit extra news, there was a demo for contemporary F1 cars announced but not much info given until this popped up on the Classic's facebook yesterday.

Should be interesting to see what else turns up.

56 entries for Pre War Sports Car race.
Wonder if this is start of revival ?

Not sure it's going to be a great race with the odd GP car with wings rather than real sports cars but we will see.

Certainly this race along with the Goodwood Revival race will be the most important for these cars worldwide this year.

Next year Le Mans Classic will as always lead the field.

It is a step in the right direction John. Looking forward to it. The Classic isn't a classic without covering all periods.
