kartingdad has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
There must be some hotels within striking distance. I'm trying to organise a group booking for KMR and camping isn't high on the list!!!

I did a 2:45 around there in ff1600 on standard ff1600 tyres. The year before my team mate did a 2:41 on slicks, but the best he did on the treaded tryes was a 2:44.8 so not much in it.

I think if you can get around 2:46 in the FF1600 you'll be pretty close, I believe the 1800's can get a 2:38 but I'm not sure

Its quite hard to judge it all as we run the FF1600's in standard regs, the monoposto guys have slicks, wings, slightly different but fully legal engines. I'm impressed with jminsh time in a 71 - was that bog standard or did you change it to play within the mono regs ?

It was at the historic 6 hours meeting last sept.
It was completley FF1600 spec, all i did was put a 19/32 ratio as 1st and moved them all down 1 so in effect it was a 5 speed and it was the fist time i can truely say i had it flat in top through Eau Rouge AWESOME.

Don't forget all starts are rolling and downhill at Spa hence no need for a low cog.

Anyone want to share the truck with us, we'll be doing the Hull-Zeebrugge ferry, so it suits any of you northerners. Just pay half the ferry, half the fuel.

Does anyone know of any drives availble for this event in a FF.

As it would seem at this moment in time we will have no testing for the UK FF round in September at Spa, qualfying being our first go, I would like to see the circuit before then as I'm sure some of the other top boys will be doing the same.

Thanks

Stuart

That would help a lot darcym. If you could PM me some details that would be fantastic.

They say they are working on it, we do need it if we don't want to look stupid in front of the euro teams who are doing it, but just in case if I could find a deal for this race weekend that would help.

last chance for anyone to share, we are going wednesday on the Hull-Zeebrugge ferry coming back on Sunday evening.

Also I just dragged out the Formula Ford Eurocup results from Spa in 2000, fasting time from qualifying was a 2:30.529 by Dalgren.
