Carnival accident

I think there was a very nasty-looking accident in the first heat of the Carnival (I saw the cars in the scrut bay afterwards)

Does anyone know how the drivers are?

Both drivers are fine. The driver of car 31 was Peter Hill-King, he was unsighted coming into Camp and hit the back of Jim Morris who was stationary having spun.

Jims gearbox penetrated the front of Peters car past the pedals, breaking Peters toe and leaving him badly bruised. The car, as you saw is a bit of a mess. Unfortunately I had loaned Peter my car for the race, ouch!
