Final Anglesey Race Day 28th November

What will you be doing that weekend? Why not pop up to Anglesey and end the NW with a great one day meeting? http://www.brsccnw.com/

Check out the BRSCCNW web site, but below is what's in store for the folks who make the journey up there.

Formula Ford 1600 (First race for Formula Ford will be the Moose Trophy)
Sports/Saloon cars
Caterham Type Sports Cars
Legends
Two Driver Enduro

Hope to see all the local marshals and maybe some new ones there??

Was it 3 years ago marshals were wearing shorts? Turned out one of the best days of the year.

I do remember being on Pit In and trying to defrost the entrance where there was a fair bit of ice. Thought we had done OK until the stewards came in, very very slowly, but still managed a bit of a wobble. More sand and we were away.

Putting the Formula Fords out last was a bit tricky though - they couldn't see in the dark!! Cars with headlights are probably the best bet to go last. I seem to remember having to referee a big old scrap between a couple of drivers on Rocket last year - I guess you know someone has really lost the plot when they are trying to punch a guy wearing a full face helmet. Happy memories.

If you have never done the winter meeting here, it is a real end of term feel to it and very enjoyable - I will certainly be there

Definitely worth going. Weather can be a bit iffy but a good wind down for the winter (although I am considering the 750MC Winter Series at Donington on 28th December).

Congratulations to Steve and Andrea. I wouldn't call her a Michelin Man, though or you could end up divorced before you're married!

Enjoyed taking part in this meet last byear in the two-driver Enduro, althouigh racing a car you've never sat in before in the wet and dark is......interesting.

Not sure about this year - money's a bit tight - could well be tempted to come and marshal

I'm there for this one. The Anglesey winter meetings are always great (mind you, so are the summer one's ! )

And just like Paul, i'm also thinking about doing the Donington 750MC meeting on 28th December.

Last year was like standing in a working car wash.

Seem to remember KayBee occupying the shed whilst we got wet. No idea that water could get to so many places.

A trial of winter clothing but also good fun. Well worth the effort.

There are three types of waterproofs - shower proof; storm proof; and Anglesey proof. I'm still looking for the latter!

That's what the posts are for - stand in the shelter of the box and you will be perfectly dry. Hold a flag up in the wind and you will be in Liverpool before you finish screaming.

Lots and lots of warm clothes. Who's camping?

A new recruit or just trying Trac Mon for the first time?

http://www.brsccnw.com/contacts03.htm and send an e-mail to Alistair Garrett
PM me if you prefer and I'll help get you sorted

If you can get there for Saturday night, there will be a bunch of us there - look for anything wearing orange and ask, or head for the paddock bar and aim for the noisy ones

What's on the Saturday, then? AS far as I can tell, the meeting is only scheduled for the Sunday. That said, there is a fair chance there will be few getting there a little early, no doubt. Like, Friday!!

Darn it! the secrets out! Trust me, if the legends were allowed to test we would never get a moments peace! That said testing at that time of year is usually fraught with problems, mostly weather related!
