I was certainly trying.

Maybe a bit too hard at times?

Loved every second.

Thanks for sharing lovely photos.

The GSM Dart (Little powder blue sports car) is probably the most beautiful I have ever seen. Lovely!

I was quite taken with the little white Clan running the turbo charged A series. It had way more room than I had imagined and was damn quick off the line.

Not an A Series but a turbocharged 998 Imp engine after last seasons trial using a turbocharged 875 Imp engine.

Crystal Palace was excellent, dawdling Van Deimen I may have been, but it did not seem like that, it was hard to keep the car going in a straight line and would not stop. Shame some people thought it a waste, but it did not seem like that at midnight getting the car finished.
I felt sorry for my lady driver on the Sunday, first time in the car, first ever event and despite some less than complimentary comments was still smiling a week later.
Great job by Sevenoaks motor club and all the marshalls, the commentary was not bad either.
Roll on next year with car fully sorted

crystal palace

Thanks wnut for your comments.
I was supporting her on the Sunday, but to be honest, I found it a bit stressfull as she had her whole family there.
It's a long time since I had to "look after" young kids, a husband and respective mothers.
However there was a moment earlier on the day when I had to find the scrutineer, who enquired on the way back to the car if she, the driver, "had all the right equipment". I assured him she came fully equipped as I had checked myself. We looked at each other and burst out laughing.
