What ever it was it was lost in translation.
Foges made a point during the segment that he becomes unemployed from Fairfax when AA ceases. He might make a good alternative Phelps on the show.

I'll second that motion.... anyone know how to start on of those online petitions that we could send to Warburton and have Phelps kick out...

It won't happen as Phelps is employed by the Daily Telegraph which is part of NewsCorp and Foxtel. And Inside Supercars is on Foxtel which makes sense that they wont axe Phelps.

My Favourite 08 moment was when Courtney/Besnard comeback drive at Bathurst. Courtney raced through to dominate the opening stint had 15 sec. gap to Lowndes who was in 2nd. In the 2nd stint a slowly deflating tyre (originally diagnosed as a damaged anti-roll bar) slowed Besnard's stint in Courtney's car allowing Whincup to assert dominance over the field rest of the race. On lap 160 S.Richards, fading badly on rear tyres was unable to stop Courtney move into 3rd place.

Supercars could refuse to issue him accreditation.....

Anyone see his attempt the other night with Holdsworth?? Best shut down I've seen in the long time, leaving Phelps with a stupid look on his face and no response other than I'm talking you up.

Interesting to hear Mr Jones on Inside Supercars last night confirm that Mr Tander was NOT heading to BJR for 2016...

Do you really think Supercars would do that to a News Limited employee who does nothing but talk up everything about the championship??

I would be willing to bet a substantial amount of money that Supercars pays News to have him attend every event and provide X amount of coverage from each event.

Did you notice the name of the person who sent the Tweet in?? Michael Philps.....and Rusty almost said Phelps as he read it out... come on boys try harder if you're going to create fake tweets of questions the Phelps would ask....

Looks like the silly season is going to be on hold until Scotty Mac decides where he's going, which will be after Bathurst.

What are Dragon insinuating with the comment "plans in place now instead of christmas"?

Wasn't the deadline the week after Bathurst last year too?

That they have even less time now to make up some press release about their plans for next year that only have a chance of coming to fruition in their own fantasy?

If someone was in there 70's and had just lost a major sponsor/manufacturer and they had a motorsport team with lofty ambitions and reasonable cash resources in a reasonably close relationship, Then a sale/partial buyout may be on the cards. Similar to the erebus/SBR move

Technically possible, but I don't think likely.

Still, stranger things have happened in the past....
