Quote from Bramzel: "On the dry it outpaced the 575's as well. There seems to be a large difference when the car isn't in factoryhands though, and Valencia definitely is a track that suits the Lambo (has lot's of downforce, but lacks topspeed)."

Valencia was the car's best race so far. It qualified 5th and finished 3rd. It then was not seen until Imola, where it qualified 18th and 25th behind all five 575's. At Oschersleben it qualified 15th and 17th ahead of only one 575. In Dubai it sat 14th and 20th on the grid ahead one 575 while in Zuhai it qualified 11th and 26th ahead of three 575s. In terms of finishes in those four races the best was 18th with the 575s beating it most of the time.

Again, I'm still not seeing how you can say the car is quicker than the 575s. Although, if you go through the times you can see that it is indeed getting quicker and most likely has more potential than the 575. Although the car will continue to struggle in ACO trim in my opinion.

Agreed Jeremy, the 575 at the moment is clearly the faster machine in general, and today got another excellent 5th place. Not sure if the Lambourgini has more potential than the 575 though, I think it all hinges on the new engine. If this engine can be made competitve theres no doubt in my mind that the car should be competitve at the very least, perhaps not a threat to the S7R's, DBR9's and MC12's but should at least be as quick as the 550s of the moment.
