Skaifes car looked awesome - Murphy parked it with that time and has fresh tyres for the shoot out.

Hopefully the Holden's can keep it together for the rest of the weekend & close the gap to Ambrose in the championship.

Dave HRT Moy should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
You see, it's days like today that I'm so very glad to be alive.

Left work early, no traffic, got home, showered, shorts and T shirt on, cold drink in hand, watched the ducks in the lake behind my house, had a nice dinner, come and sat down on the good old computer for an hour and read that Ambrose ran into a wall and missed the top ten and to top it off Skaife is fastest by half a second.

Just really a lovely day.....

More than 5 rows back and the most unforgiving track in the series. Ah yes, this will be a good weekend. I feel it in my bones.

Go Skaife, Go Murph and Go the MIGHTY RED LION....

We wonder if the "Tassie Devil" is a little distracted! Some juicy rumours doing the rounds at Indy car since last night, with the key one being that the above mentioned Marcos supposedly being offered (and accepting) a big - and I mean BIG - carrot from 888 Racing to join their squad next season!

How big? Try 7 figures! And plenty - 1.5 mil being the suggestion - along with 2 key techical people, one being Campbell Little.

These Poms will ruin this series if that's the game they're playing - let's not forget that FPR keeps "quacking" about "wait 'til we get out new engines from England!" Haven't we got Aussies that can build a race engine anymore? Do we have send our Pacific Pesos to the UK?

Is it their problem if they can build better engines/offer better deals than the locals?

And just why will it 'ruin the series' if a team decides it wants to pay what it thinks people are worth?

The series will be ruined by other things anyway...

We are in a free enterprise system and money talks however what goes around comes around and unless there is a return for the investment then it won't last.

Hi Wizzby

As a long time Holden supporter I would normally say the same, but I think the series needs a bit of balance and Ford needs to win a few more races to keep people interested (I can't beleive I just said that )

"These Poms" are probably the only hope this flea circus has of worldwide domination, etc. as the locals have mostly shown themselves to be the colonials they are.
