David Towe should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
I went to the follow up with the surgeon, he was less than amused but happy to see I'm feeling so good. I asked him how long before I could race again and 3 months after the op was his reply. He liked the trophy and had a chuckle. I asked him how long after the op before I could go back to playing soccer again? "Next year" was his reply in a forceful, concerned tone of voice. Ok, I'll give him that one.

If it's the engine from my car that I sold to Peter Jones then it is from the Longhurst car not the Richards car. I'm a little curious also about what Mostech did to it? Was it a rebuild or a cosmetic clean up?

Terry Shiel's Eurocar Group C Mazda RX7
97% complete but unfortunately I will not finish it. It has gone to another
owner who intends to race it in Group C Historics.

I think the gaffa tape #9 was so they could so easily change it to a gaffa tape #7 for the following ATCC round's at Winton and Oran Park, where it ran as #27 in those two events.

They had a proper 7 on there alongside the 2 for Bathurst

Question about Bathurst 1990

Hi all. I seem to remember that during the 1990 1000 Tomas Mezera drove into the pits, Larry was a tad upset and whacked Tomas's helmet with his hand through the window, does anyone know if my memory is correct and what the hell was it all about.

1991.

I think Larry was trying to understand what Tomas was saying. Both were wearing helmets making communication difficult.

Nothing more sinister than that.

Although it did look a little aggressive on Larry's behalf.

Was 1991 when Tomas arrived in pit lane with a dead car and a frustrated Larry yanked the visor up it would appear because he couldn't hear. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oZ4h...2E6675&index=9

The third Team Brock built car i'm not sure who owns it?

I think this is confirmed as the Sherrard car. He was using a Red one at various events in Tasmania and elsewhere.
He took it to NZ for a Targa http://www.rallysportmag.com.au/home...o-for-targa-nz
The photos on Sleuths page include a co-driver footrest and so on.
Certainly a nice piece of history for someone.
