2015 Argentinian Super TC 2000
2015 Season is about to start this weekend.
Does anyone know at which circuit? Official website says "A Confirmar", but I guess all teams must be on the way to some destination, otherwise it is a bit late? |

The first race seems to be cancelled now and season 2015 is about to start in JunĂ*n (AutĂłdromo Eusebio Marcilla) on March, 29th.
As replacement an additional race is planned on December, 20th. |

Christian Ledesma won the Super TC2000 race at Termas de RĂ*o Hondo, his first victory for five years, after completing his final mandatory pitstop on the very last lap.

But he wasn't the only leader at Termas. Ardusso overtook Ledesma on Lap 11 and got the lead during six laps of the race.

This weekend, the Super TC2000 is racing at the Rafaela oval, with just two chicanes as in recent years. It's scary enough, even with FWD.

Average speeds in qualifying are 220 km/h, same as Nascar Xfinity at Iowa...

Mariano Werner claimed victory in the Super TC 2000 race at Rafaela as Team Peugeot Total team-mates Agustin Canapino and Nestor Girolami clashed on the very last lap. To add even further drama, Werner was then excluded for an irregularity with the rear wing of his Ford Focus. |

I didn't know that. There's lots of drivers and team owners in Argentina and I can barely remember who drove for Chevrolet or Ford in my previous stint with TyC Sports in 2009-2011.

Former WSR 3.5/Indy Lights/Superleague Formula driver Esteban Guerrieri claimed his first ever Super TC2000 victory for Toyota Team Argentina at Saint Louis, crossing the finishing line just 0.612 seconds ahead of Fiat driver José Manuel Urcera in second position.

THis weekend it's the 200km. It won't be held at Buenos Aires city or province, but at the Toay circuit in La Pampa.
There's several top TC drivers and four top Brazilian drivers, but no Europeans. I watched the whole race, I hadn't done that in a long while. It was entertaining, with plenty of action.
The pole lap average speed was 199 km/h! |
