Well, I'll be leaving first thing in the morning for Nazareth!
I'm pretty excited, and even my not-so-big-racing-fan wife is to. I'm sure she'll be hooked on it after seeing it live though. Hope its a good one! PS - We'll be rooting for Scott Sharp, our hometown favorite, maybe he can somehow get that lump-of-a-car to another top 10 finish for us. I'm thinking rather optomisticly, I know! |

I said in a thread at the start of the season that Castroneves would be champion this year. Well, that's all gone to pot but with Nazareth being such an odd track, maybe he can win this one. Certainly the Toyota engine's disadvantage will be a alot less than everywhere else.
I'll still be rooting for the Brits though. I'd love to see a podium for Manning and a top 10 for Taylor. |

Manning just may do it too , he has just had his highest qualifying so far , a 5th place , so a podium is a very real possibility.

Toyota seem to have had the better of Honda so far, with Penske sweeping the front row and the Rahals down on row 5. In fact, their return from the dead has been comparable to that of another Nazareth resident....
Would be nice to see Manning on the podium and Helio winning to stay in the title hunt. |

Putting all my eggs in the Manning basket as I do every weekend I guess. Dunno what those Pesky Penske's are doing there, but I'm sure they'll drop off as usual.
Probably to another Andretti Green win for Kanaan or Franchitti. |

Wow, a Penske front row! And this was the track that Rodger Penske bulit as well. I'm sure he'd like to take a 1-2 at the last race at "his" track
Really looking forward to this race. Maybe Honda's run will end here... |

Dixon in 12th, Manning in 5th. But Scott did win from 23rd here in his first Cart season, although that was a bit of an economy run. With the Penske boys on the front row maybe Toyota has a chance although thats not the first time this season Toyota has promised something in qualifying and then bombed out in the race.

The all-Penske front row doesn't surprise me a single bit. Penske's facilities are located an hour away in Reading, and the team tests at Nazareth all of the time. They have tons of data and setups to work with.
Also, Nazareth rewards handling over horsepower. A good setup on a great handling Toyota will minimize the Honda horsepower advantage. Last edited by SevenGrain; 29 Aug 2004 at 04:41. |

Has Toyota got it's act together?
The penske guys both Hornish and Castro have been on form lately.........just a blip or anything conserning. Anyway, didn't Helio beat Sam to the line last year and are in the same postions as qualifying. |
