This is a long shot but MK1 Mart's winter project is finnishing and racing his National Hot Rod.He is stuck for an ECU. Engine in the car is a Vauxhall XE with just a crank sensor and single coil pack. Any idea's.

My XE used to run on an Omec ecu (ignition only) when it was on carbs. I switched to DTA when I changed to throttle bodies.

Try sending a pm to Nick Harrison (he doesn't post much but can be found in Club Level Single Seaters forum) he may well have something floating around as he runs XE's in Monoposto.

It might be worth speaking to SBD, they've always been very good at helping out with our XE requirements (including ECU).

Hi Trackm3, come & join us at the HSCC/HRSR Touring Cars. Your non-standard car would be more than welcome in Class A. Great club, great circuits, great atmosphere.
Hope to see you soon, Paul

I like to spread my largesse around, so I'll be at both. Also, I've got no mates.

Have managed to get some work done on LAST YEAR'S winter project at last.

Actually, the project's so long delayed, it feels like when I started it the car was contemporary.

The main winter project is the '62 TT . . . . I'm also developing a new cylinder head and cam for the 1340 engine so we can break the 130 BHP barrier. 'other' projects invclude a tweeked engine for the TV175 . . . another 1500 Fia engine for the Cortina as I keep selling mine!and some Crustina weight saving. tearget completion is spring . . .somewhen before the next millenia

oh, and I need a good quality bass speaker cabinet that doesn't break my back like the Orange one ( thats only half of it!) or a roadie!
