 Also i forgot to add, I use an Audigy 2 for my sound, linked up to a set of 6.1 speakers. Sounds great with soun coming from all directions

yeah no problem, but you need to get the fast cpu patch. Sounds like your system would be fine to run it.

Yes, I have XP pro. No problem at all. As Ed says, you will need the speedfix patch and if you're running NTSC you will need to have indexing turned on. Your system looks fine for GPL Mr. Bluesman1..... Get on in there!

just been playing the Demo I downloaded and have since bought the game for under £5 off the net, hopefully it will be here in a few days
gotta get all the patches that are available now

right, my copy of GPL arrived in the post this morning and I have been playing it everytime I get a chance. The game is sooooo addictive! If anyone is reading this thread and hasn't yet bought the game then do so very quickly cos you are missing out on THE coolest racing game I have ever played! If you played the demo and thought it was boring, stick with it and get the game cos the full game makes the demo look like pants!
To say the game is hard would be the understatment of the year! Saying that though it makes you wanna keep trying until you stop spinning it in every corner. With all the extra downloads/addons available it will make this game even better than it is out of the box and it is already so good! I have so far only added the Bathurst and Adelaide sprint tracks at the moment but will be adding more later on. Gotta master the driving before I start the harder tracks. Cheers everyone else for convincing me to try this great game
