MGCC - Oulton 2nd July

Looking forward to this one!

Is the meeting on the Island or Full Circuit - doesn't say in the destructions that JW sent?

Entry form says International 2.69 miles. Shall not be there unfortunately as work has got in the way. Have a good weekend all of you!

Final instructions also say Full International Circuit. Should be a fun day, though two races have been combined (MG Cockshoop Cup and Total Butler) so 7 races to run in the day.

Weather looks changeable, so could be fun under the trees with a bit of damp making it interesting.

Cheers
Andy

Full Circuit = very few marshals!
Looking forward to it even more now though - think the MGCC were on Fosters last year IIRC?
Damp conditions forecast - could be a busy day

I'll also be making my way down the M6 again, although thankfully not as far as last weekend. I'm planning to avoid Druids this time, as the last 3 have resulted in nowt to do whatsoever, which i deem unfair to Druids which has such a reputation for being a busy post.... ;-)

I'll be there with you in spirit, even though my body will be driving my daughter back up to York in my B - hopefully it won't rain so we can have the hood down.

Always keep something to your self, and never tell everything to anyone.

Look what Mark's comment above has generated, now lots of people know that something is happening at Oulton Park this Saturday on the International Circuit.

I also have insider information with regards to the number of Marshals that have volunteered for this meeting, seeing as I sent out the passes etc.
AND I AINT GOT ANY CONCERNS WHATSOEVER.

But I do have some spare tickets if any body else wants to come along and play.
(No doubt some one will now interpret that as a desperate plea for help - but they would be very wrong!)

Warning, I'll be at Druids with the camera for qualifying and my reputation for being an incident magnet is well known. I need some more interesting marshal shots, so forgive me if I appreciate the odd incident or two.

But it hasn't worked recently has it Ken? I saw you on both the VSCC and BTCC meetings and we got nowt! Does that mean your magnets are storing their power for this weekend, or was there someone on post who was using the same polarity and so cancelling you out?

You ALWAYS get a lunch break with the MGCC - in fact I've never been to Oulton when you DON'T get a break!

Sorry guys, I'm having to miss this one. A decree has been issued in the FM household that we have to visit friends / rellies sometimes during Summer, so I'm stuck.

What with having to take the kids on holiday, and some work in America soon, it's looking like a motor sport desert between now and the OP Gold Cup - what am I going to do???

I think you'll have to be especially nice to KT.

It probably goes without saying, but the FM household decree wasn't issued by me!
